M.L. Laksasubha Kridakon, the President of the Australian Alumni Association (Thailand), takes on the honored role as a judge in the Inspiring Women in Travel (Asia) Awards 2024, which were held on April 27, 2024. With over 150 nominations from around Asia/Pacific in various categories such as Rising Star in Travel, Executive Women in Hotel or Hospitality, Start-Up Trailblazer, and Women of Synergy.
ML. Laksasubha Kridakon embraces the role of women in leadership and strongly believes in the development of women’s empowerment in all aspects of society and industries. Coming from being the first Thai female president of Austcham Thailand and the owner/GM of a boutique hotel on the beachfront family property for over 15 years, she encourages diversity, inclusion, and female employees in top positions in the operation of her resort and supports local women SME businesses in bringing their products to showcase at her gift shop for her foreign guests! She has been involved in sharing knowledge and giving talks to inspire women and empower them to be more confident in taking steps to become entrepreneurs in business, at various non-profit events organized by UN women’s organizations, chambers of commerce, and especially in education, tourism, and hospitality, which are her line of business in Thailand and the ASEAN region.
With these references, as part of our next upcoming Women’s Empowerment event, ML. Laksasubha Kridakon and our AAA director on Women Empowerment, an Australian Alumni Award winner in 2023, Khun Lasida Sutaroj, who graduated from the University of Queensland together with our AAA team with the support of the Australian Embassy, will be organizing the Australian Women Alumni Connected 2024, which will be held at the Australian Embassy on June 6, 2024.
