Australian Alumni Awards 2022

On 22 July 2022 at Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Ballroom 5th floor, set as the date, time, and location for the Australian Alumni Association (Thailand) present the award to all of the awardees. It is also marked he night for Australian Alumni Association (Thailand) held its first on organizing the 2022 Australian Alumni Awards ceremony.

AAA Thailand is grateful to have Dr. Angela MacDonald, the new Australian ambassador to Thailand, as a guest of honor and M.L. Laksasubha Kridakon, the AAA Thailand President, to open the awards night.

During the awards gala dinner, there was a performance by Khun Navida Pachimsawat known as Lordfai. She graduated with ‘A Bachelor of Dance’ from The Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne.
Currently, she is a choreographer, dance and movement artist, and educator based at Bangkok Dance Academy in Bangkok.

To add more excitement, there are lucky draws from the event sponsors, Thai Vietjet, Laksasubha Resort in Hua Hin, and Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit Bangkok.

Aside from the wonderful performance and lucky draw, the 2022 Australian Alumni Awards was sprinkled with the presence of actors and prominent personalities, who are Ananda Everingham, Thira (Um) Chutikul, a young and upcoming actor who played a supporting role as the head of the Navy seals in a soon to be released the Hollywood movie – Thirteen Lives, and an influencer Chollada Mekratri. Moreover, the newly elected and widely popular Bangkok Governor Chatchart Sittipunt who spent many month as a researcher at Australia’s CSIRO.

The Australian Alumni Association Thailand would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our event sponsors. For events organised by the Australian Embassy, AAA Thailand will submit names of alumni members to the embassy on a rotation basis. However, the final decision as to which alumni are invited rests with the Australian Embassy.
