Samarnmittra Career and Networking 2020

The annual Samarnmittra sports event is a long-standing, annual event organised by Thai students studying in Australian universities. For its main networking event, AAA Thailand decided to promote this tradition in the 2020 career and networking event which saw just over 170 alumni attend. Over 40 Thais still studying in Australia joined and connected with their peers and senior colleagues at the Mango by the River. Representatives of Thai clubs and students still studying in Australia played a key role in contributing and organising the event. Like previous AAA networking events, the Australian Embassy provided solid and firm support.

Since 2016, admission to AAA Thailand events have been free of charge. However, the AAA Thailand Committee reserves the right to charge nominal fees for certain events from July 2020 onwards. For events organised by the Australian Embassy, AAA Thailand will submit names of alumni members to the embassy on a rotation basis. However, the final decision as to which alumni are invited rests with the Australian Embassy.
